1 million rupees prize announced for Fakhar Zaman’s historic innings against New Zealand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for Fakhar Zaman for his outstanding performance against New Zealand.

PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf spoke to national team opener Fakhar Zaman over the phone on Saturday in Bengaluru.

Zaka Ashraf praised the performance of Fakhar Zaman for his brilliant innings of 126 runs against New Zealand.

He also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for Fakhar Zaman and expressed hope that he will continue the same performance in the future.
Earlier in the rain-affected match of the World Cup, Pakistan won two valuable points by defeating New Zealand by 21 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

In this very important match against the Kiwis, Fakhar Zaman played an innings of 126 runs off 81 balls and did not get out.
Opener Fakhar Zaman, who won the ‘Player of the Match’ award, had 11 sixes and 8 fours in this innings.

After New Zealand, the Pakistani team will play their last match on Saturday, November 11 against England at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
