Anti-drone team will be deployed for the Pakistan and India match, The police of the city of Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat have said that they have completed all the security arrangements for the match between Pakistan and India in the World Cup.

The match between Pakistan and India will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.

During a press conference on Monday, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Gananinder Singh said that more than 14,000 security personnel will be deployed across the city to deal with security and traffic problems during the match between the traditional rivals.

A senior police officer of Ahmedabad further said, “Apart from this, some threats are also coming (via e-mail), we are also monitoring them.”

Highlighting the security arrangements, Neander Singh said ‘We have also requested for the deployment of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) and SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) teams.

It can also detect radiological and nuclear threats.’ According to the Commissioner of Ahmedabad Police, we will also get a bomb disposal squad and anti-drone team to ensure the security of the match.
