Babar Azam is back at number one in the ICC ODI rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new ranking of cricketers.
In the latest rankings released on Wednesday, Pakistan cricket team’s batsman Babar Azam has overtaken India’s opener Shibman Gill to become number one in the ODI rankings.

Similarly, in the list of bowlers in the ODI format, South Africa’s Keshu Maharaj is number one while Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is on the second place.

On the other hand, England’s leg spinner Adil Rashid has become the number one ranked bowler in T20. Adil Rashid has overtaken Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan and India’s Ravi Bishnoi at number three after taking seven wickets in the first four T20Is of England’s ongoing series in the West Indies.

India’s Surya Kumar Yadav remains the top batsman in the T20 rankings after scoring a half-century and a century in the second and third T20Is in South Africa. Pakistan’s batsman Muhammad Rizwan is still at the second position.

In the Test rankings, Kane Williamson is still at the number one rank, while Usman Khawaja has reached the fourth position after advancing three places.

In the Test bowling rankings, Pat Cummins has moved up one place to third, while Nathan Lyon is fifth, Mitchell Starc eighth and Josh Hazlewood tenth. Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin remains at number one in the ranking of Test bowlers.
