Babar Azam was stumped in all three matches in the ODI series against New Zealand

Babar Azam was stumped in all three matches in the ODI series against New Zealand, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was stumped three times during the three-match ODI series against New Zealand in Karachi.

Prior to this series, Babar Azam, who has batted in 93 innings in the 50-over format, was stumped only once in his ODI career.

The right-hander scored just 4 runs in the third ODI after scoring 66 and 79 in the previous 2 matches.

Earlier, Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat in the third ODI on Friday. It may be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to conduct a comprehensive review after the end of the home season, in which captain Babar Azam is likely to lose the captaincy in two of the three formats.

The PCB is considering separate captains for all formats of the game, in which only Babar Azam will lead the team.

PCB is also considering changes in Pakistan team management after a disappointing home season. It should be noted that the contracts of head coach Saqlain Mushtaq and bowling coach Sean Tait will expire on February 9, 2023.

Sources added that a final decision on the changes is likely to be taken after the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) next month.
