More than 20 Pakistani sportsmen have joined the PSA

In 2023, 22 Pakistan squash players obtained the Professional Squash Association membership.

Last year, 26 players registered in the PSA, the highest number of Pakistani players since 2016. Abdullah Nawaz, Amna Malik, Anas Ali, Fardeen Ali, Hasher Kafayat, Karamatullah Khan, and Louisa are among the players who will get PSA membership in 2023. Aftab, Mir Fayyaz, Muffakhar Ali, M Imad, M Anas, M Babar, Ibrahim Mohib, M Raza, M Shehzad Khan, Zaman Khan, Nabil Ahmed, Nawab Shah, Saddamul Haq, Sikandar Khan, Talha Zubair, and Zohaib Ali.

2020 saw a drop in numbers when Covid-19 hit the world and only seven players from Pakistan were registered with the PSA. In 2019, before the pandemic, 13 players became professionals by acquiring PSA membership.

However, the Pakistan Squash Federation is violating its policy regarding the registration of players with PSA as it strictly adheres to its policy of allowing only the top 20 nationally ranked players for PSA membership and not working.
