Pakistani fielders have caught the most catches in the World Cup? The performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup in India has not been impressive yet, but the green shirts have become the team with the highest catches in this mega event.

Pakistan’s team has played seven matches in the World Cup so far, in which they have lost four and won three, after which the green team is in the fifth position with 6 points in the points table.

After Pakistan, the team that has taken the most catches in the World Cup is the Netherlands, who have taken 33 catches and dropped 6, followed by the Dutch team with a catch rate of 85%.

Australia is generally considered to be the best fielding team, but the Kangaroos‘ fielding performance in this World Cup has been poor.
Australian fielders have taken 29 catches and dropped 12 in six World Cup matches, with the Kangaroos’ catch rate at 71 percent.

Similarly, Afghan fielders have taken 20 catches and dropped 8 catches in the mega event, after which their percentage is 71%.

Surprisingly, the New Zealand team, considered to be the best fielding side in the world, has also had a very poor fielding in this World Cup. The Kiwis have taken 40 catches and dropped 16 in the World Cup, giving them a catch rate of 71%.

Apart from this, South Africa has taken 51 catches in this tournament but the Proteas have also dropped 12 catches, after which their catch rate is 81%.

Last on the list is Sri Lanka who have taken 22 catches and conceded 14 catches. The Islanders’ catch rate has been just 61 percent.
