PCB allowed 4 cricketers including the T20 captain to play in leagues

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to issue NOCs to 4 cricketers of the national cricket team to play in the leagues.

And has broken new ground by allowing participation. This marks a significant change in the PCB’s policy, which had earlier imposed strict restrictions on the appearance of players in overseas matches.

In the T20 format, it has been decided to issue NOCs to 4 cricketers including Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi for the league. Other players include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Wasim Junior.

The captain himself will now get a chance to showcase his leadership skills and abilities on a wider scale, potentially benefiting both him and the national team.

Sources say that Shaheen Afridi has contracts with International League T20 while former captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Wasim Jr. have contracts with Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
