The PCB has also requested the Emirates Cricket Board to pull back their ILT20 league by ten days to avoid lapping.

Pakistan, according to ICC’s FTP, is listed to host West Indies for two Tests and three T20Is beforehand coming time, which has also been the window for conducting the PSL since 2016.

In the last PSL governing council meeting, it was affirmed that the PCB can” immolate” the home series. In an effort to create a clear timeframe for the next PSL, the board has started conversations with a number of stakeholders.

still, which is after the alternate week of April, they could face another challenge, If the PCB conducts the West Indies series after Ramzan. With the IPL listed for April- May, several West Indies players might be unapproachable for the bilateral series in Pakistan.

The PCB hasn’t said anything on when the series could be tallied but there were conversations on the possibility of playing the home series during the month of Ramadan- March to April.

Still, playing Tests during that month will pose serious challenges for players observing fasting. That said, the PCB had conducted a limited-overs series against New Zealand during the month of Ramadan this time, where the five-match T20I series was played at night and the five ODIs were conducted post-Ramzan.

With respect to the PSL, the six-platoon event now runs for 34 days. Due to Ramzan, its window is confined from February 12 to March 10. With the ILT20 listed for January 13 to February 12 in 2024, the PCB has requested the UAE board for a ten-day concession.

After the Pakistan board rejected NOCs for a group of Pakistani players for the league’s inaugural season, it is expected that the PCB will also free some of its players to sign a contract with the ILT20.

Meanwhile, the PCB is also planning to introduce two further votes in the PSL, conceivably extending the window by ten days.

The PSL and finance departments are presently forming an offer on the fiscal distribution model, scheduling, and the marketable aspect to try and move the six brigades for the expansion, which is facing many roadblocks including its window.
