Rizwan is likely to be replaced by Sarfaraz in the Boxing Day Test

Among other major changes in the national team, Pakistan’s Muhammad Rizwan will replace Sarfaraz Ahmed as wicketkeeper for the second Test against Australia. The five-day Boxing Day Test will begin on December 26 (Tuesday) in Melbourne, a haven for fast bowlers.

Sources say that the next match may see several changes in the Pakistan playing XI, after the exclusion of the injured Khurram Shahzad, there will be a tough battle between Hasan Ali and Mir Hamza for a place in the team.

Sources say that there was no possibility of Wasim Jr joining the team for the Melbourne match. Meanwhile, Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafiq will continue to open the innings. Sources say that there is a bright possibility of dropping all-rounder Faheem Ashraf and giving it to off-break bowler Sajid Khan.
