Shoaib Akhtar owes Saqlain Mushtaq, Former Pakistan Cricket Team Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq has revealed that former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is in debt to him, he took money from him to buy clothes which is still due.
Recently, Saqlain Mushtaq participated as a guest in a private channel program, where he spoke openly about his personal life and cricket.
On a question from the host, he looked at Shoaib Akhtar’s picture and called him ‘Shaabi’ and ‘Shoaib the actor’, and told that both of them have been friends since childhood even before playing cricket. Both of them used to visit each other’s houses and used to eat dal roti together.
During the conversation, while talking about his relationship with Shoaib Akhtar, he said that he is a very emotional person, he makes fun of himself, but if someone else makes a joke, it is considered bad.
Shoaib Akhtar owes Saqlain Mushtaq, how much money has to be returned?
Former Test cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq asked Shoaib Akhtar to return his loan of Rs 250. Saqlain Mushtaq, recalling past memories, said that there was a time when Shoaib Akhtar had borrowed 250 rupees from him to buy clothes, which he has not returned till now. This is my loan.
Saqleen Mushtaq said that the teams had come to Karachi to play a match, we were staying at Al-Karam Square in Lalukhit, there were 20 to 25 people sharing a room in a 2-room house, I and Shoaib were also in this room.
He said that at that time we did not get a daily allowance, we used to leave home with one and a half to two thousand rupees, on which we had to live.
I had 250 rupees left with me while Shoaib Akhtar’s money was gone. However, after watching a movie, Shoaib Akhtar wanted to buy a new pant shirt, so he bought those clothes with the remaining money. To which I said, where will you eat now?
Saqlain Mushtaq further said that Shoaib Akhtar was very fond of shopping, and other players of the team were also afraid that he would ask him to borrow money.
Shoaib has not returned my 250 rupees till today, I am demanding money again today through this show which would have become 40 to 50 lakh rupees by now.
