The Cricket Board stopped from selling media rights of PSL, approval must be taken for major decisions

The government stopped the Pakistan Cricket Board from selling the media rights of PSL and made it mandatory to get approval before every major decision.

PCB’s management committee has been authorized by the government to carry out day-to-day affairs only.

Due to this move of the government, many important matters have been stalled, PSL is to be held in February but the media and other rights have not been sold yet.

After the cricket board started the process, a letter was received from the government instructing them to seek permission first.

Sources say that Zaka Ashraf has postponed his visit to Australia to meet caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on this matter.
