NBA playoff brackets and standings after April 1 games

The race for the NBA playoffs is in full swing as the regular season draws to a close.

In the Western Conference, the Timberwolves clinched a playoff berth with a loss to the Pelicans. The Pelicans are in sixth place, half a game behind No. 5 Dallas after the loss against Phoenix. The Suns won a tiebreaker against the Pelicans, who are 7th in the West from 8th.

In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics beat the Hornets and extended their lead over the Bucks to 11.5 games. The Magic finished fifth after the win against the Blazers. The Pacers are 6th while the Bulls are 9th after their loss to Atlanta. The Hawks, in 10th, pulled within half a game of the Bulls after winning by a head.

It should be noted that the 2023-24 regular season ends on Sunday, April 14.

The 2024 play-in tournament will be held from April 16 to 19. Meanwhile, the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will begin on April 20.

The highly anticipated 2024 NBA Finals will begin on June 6.
