Punjab Boxing Association District Rawalpindi Boxing Tournament, Under the auspices of Rawalpindi Division Boxing Association and District Sports Department Rawalpindi, Punjab Boxing Association District Rawalpindi Boxing Tournament was organized at Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex.
More than 120 athletes participated in this event. Muslim League leader Nasir Butt Chaudhry Shoaib and Malik Azeem Pakistan Muslim League Mirza Mansoor Baig, Mir Shaukat Malik, Sheikh Haroon, Hafiz Abdullah Butt, Yamin Kayani Abu Bakr Butt, and Ibrahim Butt were present as special guests.
At the end of the competition, Chief Guest Nasir Butt distributed medals and certificates to the winning children. Chief guest Nasir Butt said that an international standard boxing gymnasium will be constructed in Rawalpindi in which national and international competitions will be held and the future of Rawalpindi athletes is bright.
He said that thankfully, sports have become a trend in our Rawalpindi city as well.
I am happy to see very good boxing, I pray that these kids will go ahead and make their country famous. Abdul Jabar Pal General Secretary of Rawalpindi Boxing Association appealed to the Chief Guest and Punjab Government to organize boxing in Rawalpindi. A hall should be established so that the boxers of Rawalpindi can play boxing in full.
