34th National Games: Pak Army tops with 97 medals, The superiority of the Pakistan Army has been proved in the ongoing National Games boxing competitions in the provincial capital Quetta, the Army is on top with 97 medals.

In the ongoing 34th National Games in Quetta, various sports competitions are going on, Pakistan Army teams have won 33 gold, 28 silver, and 18 bronze medals in various competitions, and WAPDA teams are second after winning 49 medals.

Army bagged 13 gold medals in total of 20 categories of men’s and women’s boxing events, Army boxers also bagged one silver and 4 bronze medals.

WAPDA boxers won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals while Air Force won 1 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

The Navy is third with one gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals while the Higher Education Commission won one gold, one silver, and 5 bronze medals in boxing.

Army’s Azhar won the gold medal in the men’s 92 kg category, while Army’s Fatima Zahra won the gold medal in the women’s 54-57 kg category.

In the women’s 81 kg category, WAPDA’s Mubashra bagged the first position, while in the women’s 75-81 kg category, Arfa Khurram of the Army stunned everyone.

Apart from this, the decider in the men’s 86-92 kg category went to Army’s Irfan Khan, while in the men’s 80-86 kg category, Air Force’s Mehmoodul Hasan left everyone behind.

Army’s Bilawal Zia won the gold medal in the men’s 75-80 kg category, Army’s Dua Zahra won the gold medal in the women’s bantamweight category, Army’s Saiful Manan won the gold medal in the men’s middleweight category.

In the men’s 63.5-67 kg weight category, Gulzeb of the Army could not be defeated, in the middleweight and flyweight category, Ehsanullah and Attaullah of WAPDA emerged victorious, Abrar Ali of the Army won the men’s 60-63.5 kg. Won gold medal in the weight category.

Army’s Sahar Atif won the women’s light fly, HEC’s Hamna Mumtaz won the minimum, while WAPDA’s Naqeebullah won the gold medal in the men’s featherweight category.

Apart from this, the gold medal in the men’s lightweight category went to Ibrahim of the Army while Ramsha Ghaffar of the Army won the gold medal in the women’s flyweight category.

Muhammad Qasim of the Army won gold in men’s bantamweight, and Zohaib Rashid of the Navy won gold in minimum.

In the National Games, Pakistan Railway won 4 medals, Police won 2 medals while Punjab teams won 11 medals, Baluchistan, Sindh, and KPK teams won 5 and 5 medals respectively.
