The Mari Petroleum Hockey Azadi Cup tournament will start on August 15 in Rawalpindi, Mari Petroleum Hockey Azadi Cup Tournament will start from August 15 at Ayub Park Mari Petroleum Hockey Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Yesterday, Mari Petroleum Director Sports and Tournament Organizing Secretary Colonel Muhammad Yameen Khan along with Mari Petroleum Hockey Team coach Saeed Iqbal said that the preparations for the tournament are going on vigorously and teams from eight departments from across the country are participating in the event.
These include teams from Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Mari Petroleum, Customs, Punjab Rangers, and Port Qasim.
Managers meeting will be held on 14th August to inform about tournament rules and draws. The final of the tournament will be played on August 20 and at the end of the final, prizes will be distributed among the winning players.
