The first match will be played between the women’s teams of New Zealand and Bangladesh, the second match will be played between the women’s teams of West Indies and Ireland.
The eighth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially started in South Africa.
Two more matches will be played in the mega event tomorrow (Friday), the first match between Group A teams New Zealand and Bangladesh will be played in Cape Town, while the second match between Group B teams West Indies and Ireland women’s teams.
It will be played at the same venue in Cape Town. In the mega event, 10 women’s teams will compete for the title. The Australian women’s team is trying to defend its title.
The final match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is scheduled on February 26, while February 27 will be the reserve day for the final.
It should be noted that the Pakistan women’s team will play their second group match against Ireland on February 15, a third match against West Indies on February 19, and their fourth match against England on February 21.
